Mat Pilates
Our mat based classes provide a balanced, total body workout, building strength without bulk whilst also increasing flexibility. The flowing, controlled exercises are designed to particularly target the deep postural or "core" muscles to help correct alignment and improve posture and body awareness. In the long term you will see a longer, leaner and more toned you! Matwork has also been proven to help with back problems and is frequently used in the rehabilitation of injury. A great way to release tension and stress. Every Wednesday @ 5.30 and 6.30pm Small group class of 6 people max. They will also get you fit for labour and strengthen the body in preparation for the demands of baby care and breast feeding postnatally. And of course, to look good and have fun! The mat-based classes use light equipment such as bands, balls and small weights to improve core stability, with the aim of maintaining good posture, healthy joints and balance throughout pregnancy. The small size of the classes ensure each client is looked after individually and the exercises are tailored specifically for her trimester.
